You lie helpless on a filthy bed, naked, struggling against the leather straps that bind you hand and foot. Doctors and nurses surround you with looks that seem to penetrate your body like needles. One of them holds a syringe and smiles with an expression that looks hostile to you, and not entirely human.
"Now, Leonora, why won't you stop struggling and act like a lady? This is for your own good, you know," he tells you as he sinks the needle into your arm.
Your body convulses and, still pierced by the doctor's hideous eyes, you find yourself falling into darkness.
