Dark times have fallen across the Kingdom of Thornwood. The people whisper of horrors that strike in the dead of night. Entire villages of people have been wiped out without a single survivor to tell the tale. The king has sent out his scouts to locate the cause of this disturbance. Those that return come empty-handed, and some never return at all.
 
You are a ranger in his majesty's service. The task has now fallen to you to succeed where the others have failed - to seek out the source of darkness in the land and either destroy it, or return to the castle for reinforcements.
