An Interactive Fiction by Dan Doyle III
Release 1 / Serial number 091210 / Inform 7 build 5Z71 (I6/v6.31 lib 6/12N)
You are Christine Doyle. You came home after a hard day's work at school, despite the fact that this is Saturday AND summer vacation. That's because your job sucks. You left your husband, Dan, watching your son, Danny. But now, when you get home, they are nowhere to be found, and Dan's car is still here. Where could they be? There is no note or anything!
You are in the living room of the tiny white house. Toys are scattered all over the room, leaving the floor barely visible. This may be a good thing, because the carpet has numerous stains from recent (and not so recent) pet and baby traffic. The front door leads out to the west, and to the northeast there appears to be a hallway. On the southeast end of the room is a large L shaped couch, which takes up almost all of the south and west walls. A large entertainment center takes up most of the north wall, with half of it being a trophy case, and the other half holding a TV. A baby's high chair is set up in front of the couch, as if there was a recent attempt to feed a child. Stains on the couch and floor indicate that this was most likely an unsuccessful attempt. A large picture window in the west wall gives a view of the street. A closet occupies the northwest corner of the room.
