Despite the introductory text, this is not a work of interactive fiction. It is an abuse of the programming language Inform 7. More specifically, it is a calendar viewer. Try, for example, typing "jan 1970" or "august 2007" or "year 2008". Individual months from January of A.D. 1 to December 9999 can be viewed, but the yearly calendar function is only available for years from 1753 forward.
