Living Room                                                    0/1

You trudge in from a long, hard day's work down at the box factory in what seems to be more of an exhausted crawl than a standard walking movement, eager to relax with a can of ass-cold extra-strength super-premium lightly carbonated beer (the type MEN once drank) and your favourite TV show. You take pride of place on the couch, take a deep relaxing breath, and then realise... the remote control has disappeared. You best try and find it so that this stressful day can be done with. (If this is your first time playing Interactive Fiction, type 'help'.)

That Damn Remote
A short farcical interactive fiction romp by Jamie Phelan
Release 1 / Serial number 091214 / Inform 7 build 5Z71 (I6/v6.31 lib 6/12N)

Living Room
You stand in a boring, old, generic suburban living room. You notice that the wallpaper is cracked and there is an odour of mothballs and cat urine about. To the east is the kitchen. Outside is a driveway.

There is an old television here. Sparks are known to fly from the power cable on occasion.

There is a couch here. You don't trust the sticky fabric for a second.

A smoke detector is installed in the roof.
